I've been telling people for years about inexpensive insulin from Walmart.
The difference is they are now selling an updated version of ReliOn NovoLog. The price is triple the older type but is still much lower than what it costs otherwise.
The older type would keep in a dark container in the back of your fridge for a couple of years.
Don't know about the new stuff.
