After India’s devastating second Covid wave, the country is now grappling with tens of thousands of cases of a rare fungal infection called mucormycosis. The disease has been declared an epidemic in the nation. Thousands have died of it.
Doctors say Covid, and the treatment being given for it, has led to this surge.

So tragic about the black fungus. I wonder just how much the masks contribute as fungus grows in dark, moist areas. A person breathing long term in a mask would create that warm, dark, moist environment. But that is likely the plan since a virus is too small to be stopped by a mask yet we are told to wear them.
