I’ll catch up. I just spent the last hour explaining to an employer about OPEB liability and an employee about qualified medical expenses for our HSA. My brain is fried!! LOL
I was CFO at my last job, we had five offices but still only had 60 employees, so I was also in charge of benefits. I was over 401k plan at my previous job with 250 employees, but someone else took care of the rest.
Anyway I know what you mean. Pain in the rear. I made a folder for benefits on our WAN, documents explaining everything and even an electronic version of health insurance coverage. Informed everyone it was there, but they’d call me anyway. Saying they didn’t know the file was there. If it wasn’t something I could answer quickly, I’d tell them to look it up as I’d have to do, and if they still needed help (with reading comprehension) call me back.
