Oldest son lives just outside of town that had heavy flooding.
Made it home OK.
Youngest son hasn’t made doughnuts in a while, works days except for the night he goes in at 1am to do tags.
Oh good, I’m glad you made it home. Going through flooded streets is no joking matter, lots of people have drowned that way. Or at least had their car is ruined.
Oh I’m glad he has a better schedule, the youngest. I’ve always wanted to learn to make donuts, I guess I could try to get a job somewhere but they sure do have to get up early.

Moms are never at peace until they know their kids are ok. My daughter laughs when I call to make sure everyone got home ok if they go somewhere that’s a fair distance. She’ll get it....when her munchkins get older she’ll be the first one on the phone.

In our area, you can get swept into a creek, or bayou, quick!
Not sure how far Globe is from Show Low....but, we got caught in a TERRIBLE rain/flood situation there, once, driving over a pass.
