Jane, this is local for now. This was the fourth year and first year I’ve been involved. We’re developing curriculum each year and will stop after 6. Then cycle through the six years again. Started with the beginning of US history, Declaration, Constitution. This year we covered the Louisiana Purchase, Lewis & Clark and the war of 1812.
Thanks....what a great program...for ALL kids, but, especially for those who are NOT getting these valuable lessons in public school. And, a ‘cool’ way to spend a summer break.

Sometimes a war with an external power is very uniting. I did not learn this until the bicentennial of the War of 1812 when I was many decades older than your campers.
