Have you read this series?

Yes, I have read the series (several times) and enjoyed it very much.

Even though it was written some years before we ever heard of the Coronavirus it is quite prescient and the plot development seems close to what we suspect could/would really happen.

And the character development is quite good - so many of the characters and character traits bring to mind real people we know or know of.

I won't be a total spoiler and tell you what is ultimately revealed about the rogue government in Washington and the killer plague but it has the ring of truth to it considering what we know
about the current politicians in Washington and our suspicions about the COVID virus.
