Thank you.
Prayers for your niece.
Thanks. She’s a school teacher and her students love her.

p.s. I don't think this Festival will be nearly as good as the last one.
I’ll look.
It came from a quick read on Twitter.
Could have said Lancet was part of the Maxwell publishing group.
Overnight research.

Not me. A tsunami of lies and misleading propganda. I worked at a national news outlet some years ago; there were people I had somewhat grudging respect for. Not anymore. They are part of the mindless mockingbird media, just repeating what they are told to say, with no discernable mental process intervening. The Lincoln Project, made up of journalists and commentators who were originally a common source for conservatives, suddenly being exposed as empty shells, liars, pedophiles.
And what did it take to expose all this deception and false bravado? One honest man who believed a simple founding principle: a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Finally the scales fell from my eyes and exposed a frightening truth: my government had been a lie for xxx years!
Your government has become completely weaponized I honestly don’t know if we can fix this!!
UAF the Univ. of Alaska, Fairbanks has use of it now.

Okay, thanks, Cletus.
I am pretty sure the Lancet was started in the 1800’s but am not sure if Maxwell’s publishing group took over at some point or was a part of it?
Petey

Ha, ya gotta post the entire thesis.
OK, found this set of dots to connect.
Lancet Journal(s) owned by Elsevier (Dutch).
Elsevier is owned by RELX (Brit).
They also own LexisNexis, BTW.
Wiki: “RELX is a British multinational information and analytics company headquartered in London, England. Its businesses provide scientific, technical and medical information and analytics; legal information and analytics; decision-making tools; and organize exhibitions.
Wiki about Maxwell: “Maxwell had been selling assets to raise money to meet a $750 million debt payment due in October 1992. Maxwell earlier this year sold 49 percent of the Mirror Group of newspapers in a public offering, and sold the publishing house >>> Pergamon Press to Elsevier NV of the Netherlands <<<.
Looking for dot concerning Pergamon and Lancet...gut feeling says it is there somewhere.
And, here it is:
Wiki: “The core company, Butterworth-Springer, started in 1948 to bring the “Springer know-how and techniques of aggressive publishing in science” to Britain. Paul Rosbaud was the man with the knowledge. When Maxwell acquired the company in 1951, Rosbaud held a one-quarter share.[1] They changed the house name to Pergamon Press...”
