Sorry ladies, not intended to offend you, I’m a lady too. Unfortunetly, when women speak, they sound shrill and whiney.
Also unfortunately, both men and women tend to respect and back off when a knowledgeable self secure, authoritative man, speaks. That’s just the way it is.

Yes, it’s true. I’m a woman too and years ago I worked in the corporate offices of a major retail store. We had a bunch of shirts that got wrecked somehow and so the final destination never rec’d this merchandise. But it was very high-end stuff so they kept looking for it.
One woman called me month after month, and I kept telling her the same thing. This stuff got ruined, she was never getting them, she was missing a piece of paper from some other department but I didn’t know where that was and she’d just have to find out at her end.
Finally one day, we had a new boss, and she asked to speak to him. He knew nothing about this. So I told him what I told her, and picked up the phone and pretty much said word for word what I had said. What I had BEEN saying to her repeatedly.
From him she accepted the truth and she never called again.
That really kind of blew my mind.
Not all of us do. Some of us had voices that changed.
