Sorry but the answer is yes. Trump ultimately made every choice. He could have fought for different people but he didn’t. Let me ask you this. If he had to do it again do you pick any of the same people?
If he just came to the roster of Free Republic and grabbed the first six names for all those positions he would still be president right now. He let McConnell, the swamp, and his advisors (Javanka) make those choices. But ultimately he had to sign off on them and he did so instead of fighting. Everyone of the bastards that are part of the cabal that overthrew the government should be in prison right now (or worse) if Trump just picked a semi competent attorney general. But he got suckered royally and it does piss me.
....and an aside on the same topic. I just started listening to Dan bongino during Rush’s old time slot.. Bongino is working for the swamp. He still throws platitudes supporting Barr and it turns out he was a fan of Sessions getting the job also. He’s a complete fraud. He knows how to sound good for 99% of the time but anyone who is still a fan of Barr is working for the other side ultimately. And probably being paid handsomely for it.

So back to the point....he had to pick someone.
I guess Pompeo was ultimately ok, and I think probably Mnuchin.
But Trump did not have an easy job.
