Not sure that I buy this. The geologic record of fossils and radioactive rock dating would have had thousands of indicators already established that would have suggested this many decades ago.

It’s too recent to have been overlooked. Besides, I can’t read anything without suspecting it will somehow endorse the global warming scam, even remotely.

The theory of plate tectonics and polar switching got traction when they were dragging magnetometers through the oceans looking for submarines in the early days. When passing over spreading centers such as the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the magnetometers picked up the north/south orientation of the magmatite in bands parallel to the plate boundary and it switched back and forth.

Well there is... But no one would listen or accept it. The far western cliffs of Ireland are a northern point of the Appalachian mountains as just one example...
