I liked traveling through WV when stationed at Fort Bragg, going home to Michigan on leave. Favorite was the mountain views and the freeway passing though Charleston.

When I lived in northern VA I liked to nip across to Harper's Ferry.

West Virginia is beautiful. I wouldn’t like those mountain roads in winter, though.
