Seems to me we read about the defector some time ago, some weeks maybe? Do you or does anyone else remember any details? I remember that we found out about him from (...??...) and that he knew “everything” and was a high up mil guy who knew all about Wuhan, that’s the extent of my memory.
So now the idiots in Congress have made Juneteenth a Federal Holiday. It is just too stupid. Juneteenth has no significance outside of Texas. It celebrates the day (June 19, 1865) when Federal Troops arrived in Galveston and made the citizens of Texas aware of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation which had occurred 2 1/2 years earlier (news travelled slowly back then). The rest of the country has just glommed on to a local celebration and has no idea what it’s really about. The official explanation is that it celebrates the end of slavery in the US. HUH? What about the 13th Amendment? Ignorance Writ Large!!
