The devil is everlasting and perpetual and he and God will be eternal enemies. God would always be opposed to evil, even before it happens. God knew the devil would fall. He created him anyway.

Interresting. Mankind was deceived and corrupted by an outside force but bore full responsibility for his actions because it was fully within his will to resist the lies of the devil. Consider that God had just given Adam dominion over all the beasts of the earth. All Adam had to do was command the serpent to get lost. Every day all of us walk in a spiritual battle ground whether we know it or not; the flaming arrows are flying our way. But our salvation is secured by believing and obeying the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and fighting the good fight. The devil was able to self conceive his rebellion against God, utterly failed his testing, and is destined to spend eternity in the lake of fire.
