The raw number - 11,435 variant samples - has doubled over the last 10 weeks.
The mutation to the spike protein appears to make the Mexican Variant more contagious.
Is the infection more severe?

Dr Lee Merritt - who warned us about these experimental shots, last year - also said that there will be variants (it’s what viruses do). She said TPTB will try to use these variants to scare everyone....but , to look at lethality vs infect-ability (how contagious).
Always look for the death rate...which is something they don’t (usually) provide with their scare stories.
