Someone who knew where to find them. Strangely, maybe I shouldn’t surprised if the father came under suspicion.

The Murdaugh family has ruled the county's legal system for decades, prosecuting nearly every criminal case in the southern part of the state. Several family members have served as county elected prosecutors going back almost 87 years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Over that timespan, it could have been an endless number who had a hate on for the family....and with what the son did, there was a ready deflector there to take scrutiny elsewhere.

i think the killing was unrelated to the boating accident and is related to the estate (ie a family member)
