People need to get the hell over it. If you want complete anarchy join Antifa and don’t complain about the condition of the roads, schools, police or fire services.

Our fire department is all volunteer.
When you get a traffic ticket/citation, there is a myriad of fees for court services, administration services.
We pay property tax.
We pay school tax. (although our children do not attend the public schools)
We pay for trash/recycling/leaf pickup.
We pay for gas service.
We pay for water service.
We pay for sewer service.
We pay for electric service.
We pay for telecommunications service.
Many of the above services have local/state fees embedded or line-itemed.
Put a sock in it.
Even all vol FD need gear, materials, engines, a building or buildings, water, electricity, training, etcetc.
