I’m so sorry about your son, Jvette. Wish I had my mil’s information. She was enrolled in a study at UCLA when she had Alzheimer’s. I wonder if your son and my mil’s path crossed.
Probably not and I don’t have any paperwork. But she was an absolute sweetheart.

My son didn’t die. I am so, so sorry for the confusion. Reading back what I posted I realized I didn’t make it clear that it was the doctor who died and not my son.
The neuroscientist was Dr. George Bartzokis who sadly died in 2014 and I don’t know if his research continued after since my son had left UCLA for UC Davis the year before.
Praise God, my son just got married and is expecting his first child in August. My first grandchild!
