Same here, but with a twist - we sold a property I inherited. I get several post cards every month from real estate firms wanting to buy that property that I already sold in 2018.
We also own 20 acres in Eastern part of the state and get inquires all the time, but the price they offer is LESS than we paid for it. SMH
Pretty stupid - it doesn’t take that much to do a little checking.
We recently built a storage shed-still building actually. We ordered all the lumber at once. Good thing, in less than a year, the prices on the 2x4s has tripled.
We’re visiting our son in Colorado, and visiting various parts of the state while he’s working during the week. We look at real estate prices along the way. He loves it here, but if he wants to stay, he’ll need to earn a lot when he finishes his studies. Colorado real estate has some very big price tags. The influx of people from California and elsewhere is having a huge impact on the cost of living and the culture.
We’re in SE PA. People are getting out of Philadelphia, but that’s not all of it. We are also getting people moving out of the NYC area driving up prices in the Poconos and Bucks County. It pushes up prices in the rest of the region - dominoes.
Not only do they resort to bad language they don't know the difference between the words it's and its.
"They’re using your tax dollars to [bleep[ over the lower and middle class, and its permanent. "
Are you DelCo?
