The anticipated release of a government report about UFOs (or UAPs) later this month has created a lot of public discussion about what might be included in that report, and perhaps more importantly, what might be excluded. But in the end, the government does not know, nor can it, what the UAPs really are, or are not, because they are a paradox.
Briefly stated, a paradox occurs when two statements of supposed facts are perceived to contradict each other. The UAP paradox is that the UAPs behave as if they wished to avoid detection, yet they get detected anyway. Why is that a paradox? Because, any technology that is capable of the reported flight characteristics of the UAPs, capabilities that exceed anything earthly we know about, and indeed, can seem to violate the known laws of physics, must surely be capable of stealth technology vastly exceeding ours — and ours is fairly good, and getting better, despite having been first developed in its present form only in recent decades.
In short, if the UAPs are the product of advanced technology, as they seem to be, then either they wish to hide or not. If they wish to hide, we should never, ever, be able to detect them. If they do not wish to hide, we should see them frequently, under conditions of irrefutable evidence. The paradox is that they do neither. They hide, and then they don't hide. What could be the explanation for that?
I consider the hypothesis of alien spacecraft in our skies plausible but lacking sufficient evidence to persuade an honest skeptic. Indeed, I consider it even less plausible that UAPs are the product of earthly technology, because that also presents a paradox.

Generally speaking reporters are intellectually lower life forms. They believe everything that they blurt will be consumed as truth. A good rule of thumb is to disbelieve anything that oozes from their cake holes.
Quick! The Arizona’s audits coming out! We need some distractions quick!
I know! UFOs!
Yeah the old UFO ticket!!
Look -
When they have a real life alien( not the Mexican kind ) in the flesh. With a fancy crazy ship. and they can put them on TV
let me know
Otherwise this is so boring
Not going to be popular on this thread, but... demonic activity. Answers all the questions?
We'll have to wait until we can discern this from their behavior or words or both, but it would certainly fit with the Biblical worldview, which frankly has shown itself to be accurate over a very long period of time.
Hey now, don’t kill the messenger :) Just repeating the two things my dad believed were the only possibility. Another realm, or from right here on good, old earth :)
See post 48 above.
What’s interesting is my dad told me this like 50-ish years ago or so. I’m 57 now. I thought of it recently watching a Christian pod-cast called Into the Multiverse. They were discussing UFOs and firmly believe, based on their own beliefs and research being they are quantum physicists (very, smart in other words) there is no possibility these “things” came from anywhere other than (a) earth or (b) another dimension. The show can be a bit out there, but these are truly Christians who also discuss scripture (sometimes heavily) while talking about these issues. Show is addictive, so I warn you if you start watching you’ll probably be hooked. :)
Just saying I agree with your dad. :)
Interesting. I hadn’t heard of that before.
At least not under that name. Certainly nothing happens that is not allowed by God.
AHHH.. Ok, I can be a bit slow. :)
I think you misunderstood what I wrote.
I was suggesting that someone “found” the tech and we merely figured it out. That someone could have found it 80 years ago or longer.
I agree with your point that traditional government channels have a hard time building anything complicated.
Sometimes Satan is referred to as the Trickster.
Therapists and investigators into the alien abduction phenomenon have used the term to describe the gray aliens because of the ways they acted (i.e., deceitful in a kind of playful, clever way).
As you know, God permits evil...otherwise, there would be no freedom of choice.
Yeah, I did misunderstand your point. My bad.
Because they don’t exist?
“...to believe that the same DoD...”
~~~
Didn’t the CIA bring along the SR71?
How many bureaucrats do you supposed really had much of anything to do with that program, particularly in it’s more formative stages?
I would imagine that there are/were other programs that took compartmentalization to the extreme, out of necessity. Autonomous to the point that clearance levels made absolutely no difference in terms of access or need to know.
RE: Because they don’t exist?
Then why not make an official pronouncement?
The big hole in your theory: These objects have also been observed by soldiers USGI Issue Mark 1 Eyeballs.
