Why did they even need to announce they would be taking parental leave? Would anyone have noticed their absence from anything? They could have taken unannounced leave for six months or a year and the public would be none the wiser because they don’t do anything but run their mouths from their home, put out press releases, and show up somewhere for a 10 minute photo opportunity about once per quarter.
