Bottom line VAERS has now published 2000+ deaths January or older generated from the first 36 million doses only!
Okay so 2000/36 million= 1 in 18,000 or 0.005%.
Still much lower than 1.6% case fatality rate of the diagnosed covid cases.
So the vaccine still appear to be far safer than getting covid. But the vaccine is not “perfectly safe”.
I can play with words and statistics too.
first you pull a 1.6% number from somewhere, then clarify that it is only diagnosed cases which dramatically increases the mortality rate, what if there is 1 diagnosed case per 10,000 undiagnosed asymptomatic cases ?
what percent of people had the flu, but were presumed covid ?
what percent of people who had reactions to injections were never at any risk from covid?
how many people will have adverse effects in a few years ?

The 1.6 per cent fatality rate has to do with the fact that for every 100 persons who actually get a confirmed case of the disease, 1.6(around 1.7 actually) percent will die of it(alone or with exacerbated co-morbidities) Now the per case fatality rate is different than the overall population morbity rate which consists of many who will never get the disease, those who got the disease but never knew it, and of course those who got it and it was confirmed.
The 1.7 per cent per case fatality rate has been born out over time, even in my own hospital where I work in the “covid” ICU. Still no reason to have damaged the economy the way the government did given the total numbers who will never have been affected or killed at all by the disease. The numbers at peak were high enough to threaten our hospitals’ ability to maintain functionality at peak disease rates and our elderly certainly needed extra protections...but we have weak jelly fish for government leaders at best and at worse some who had more malignant intentions.
In our area, of those who got Covid, 15 percent got sick enough to be hospitalized, of those, 15 percent got sick enough to be sent to the ICU and of those who came to the ICU, 80 percent have died...young and old. Certain folks did do better than others...skinny old white and asian ladies often did well. Blacks and Hispanic males, especially overweight or with other bad co-0morbidities(25 years old on up) both men and women died in higher numbers. White elderly males or overweight with other problems also died in significant numbers. Very few white young ladies came into the ICU or if they did left doing better. Younger white males also did well who were fairly fit. Few asian patients in the 20 to 60 range were ever seen in the ICU but a few who did were not healthy and didn’t make it. Asthmatics did better than one would have expected but they stayed an extra week or two. We did see quite a few black women in their 20-40 ages who were over weight with a history of multiple children also succumb to the illness and numbers of Hispanic young women who had been mothers and overweight with diabetes as well did not often make it.
