:... vehicles used by prior Earth civilizations...”

But they left nothing durable behind? Nothing was dropped, discarded, or just fell off? A civilization that has vehicles capable of near instantaneous travel is 100% biodegradable?

In 1000 years most of our civilization left untended would be hardly recognizable;
in 10,000 years only fossils would remain;
in 100,000 years some of the plates would begin to be subducted;
in 1,000,000 years new land would be formed;
in 10,000,000 the fossils that remained would be mostly unrecognizable;
in 1,000,000,000 years only a few plates would remain all else would be subducted.

As for parts falling off - you are imagining they were a similar technical civilization, but what if the were not? How would you know what you were looking at? Maybe you looked at it and did not realize what you were seeing? There is no requirement that any advanced civilization follow the same path we have. Maybe we had it all at our finger tips and threw it away because some one did not like it? For instance: All we know about the electromagnetic spectrum comes from 4 vector equations; those 4 were bastardized from 4 field equations by a self- taught man named Oliver Heaviside who lived in his mom’s basement; those 4 field equations were 4 of 200 field equations - some of which describe a method of movement from any one place in the universe to any other instantly; free energy from the Universe, and much more; those 200 equations were discovered by James Clerk Maxwell in the 18th century without whom N. Tesla and A. Einstein would be unknown today.

Ever notice that there are megalithic structures all around the world that use identical interlocking block construction? Ever notice that many of these structures have placements which require knowledge that the Earth is round and its exact diameter, as well as the Procession of Equinoxes; that each location is a mathematical segment that leads to Pi? That these structures are all built over fault lines? That fault lines generate piezoelectric discharges which affect the human brain in identical ways - with out of body experiences and conversions with supernatural beings (duplicated in lab settings)? How did hunter gatherers know all of that? How did they build those structures without any prior examples? No architect today could build the Great Pyramid, let alone design it so that it fits in a huge Fibonacci design with Golden Angles incorporated into the grand design

They left stuff, but the 19th century archeological thinking that demands consensus thinking of its practitioners who must knuckle under to some illogical theory in search of facts. So we out here feel safe and comfortable in our self-generated smugness, living on a world that change happens only slowly, viewed from our self-made perch on top monumental egos, demanding that we are the best, the pinnacle and nothing came before.

Where did they go? Answer: where ever they wanted. Give any type of stable civilization a million years and to us what they do seems like magic or just impossible or so different our brain cannot represent what our eyes see, except by making it into some object we can grasp, but which is not the object’s true representation. in 4.5 billion years, there may have been dozens or hundreds of advanced civilizations that arose, fell, or just left Earth for their own reasons.
