I have a rudimentary understanding of the processes of our own host messenger RNA (mRNA), DNA and immune system. I’m pretty sure I read last week in a link posted on this thread or on the previous thread that ivermectin worked because of its ability to block the spike protein on the covid virus from attaching to a cell and then using the cell’s DNA to make more virus. If the spike proteins can’t enter or attach to a cell, the cell remains healthy and virus-free and the spike proteins are reduced to blood trash and are carried away by macrophage cells designed for this purpose.
If I understand the vaccine mechanism correctly, the vaccinated are injected with foreign mRNA that instructs the resident DNA in our cells to actually make the spike proteins so the immune system can recognize them and mount a defense. It’s not obvious to me that something actually created by the DNA in our own bodies will be recognized as a foreign substance that should be attacked, even if it doesn’t belong there. That’s the essence of an auto-immune response - the body attacking itself. And I think that’s the inherent danger of introducing foreign mRNA - it co-opts the cell’s normal machinery to do things harmful to the body, but the process is seen as safe because the instructions are coming from inside the cell. Maybe I don’t understand the processes well enough. Somebody please set me straight if I’m off track.
I see ivermectin like the security guard at the gate of your community. They will absolutely stop foreign intruders, but if you brought the intruder in in your own vehicle, the guard can’t do much to save you from an attack by that intruder once he’s inside your house. Similarly, once vaccinated, I don’t know how effective ivermectin would be in either stopping production of the spike proteins or in killing the bazillion spike proteins after they’ve been created. After all, the instructions to make the spike proteins are coming from inside the cell itself and the ivermectin was only useful in stopping the spike protein from attaching to the cell.
As we may be starting to see, the real danger may never have been from the covid virus for the mostly healthy, it’s from the spike proteins that we’ve told our bodies to manufacture like crazy, thanks to the “vaccine”. Ivermectin may be useless once the cellular machinery has been compromised from within. Something else I don’t know enough about ...

Thanks. You did a pretty good job of explaining this in layman’s terms. My gut feeling was already leaning towards the “they’re screwed” position, just wasn’t sure why. We’ll know soon enough. All I can say is ouch!
