You just gave me an idea. I'm taking part in a Tony Robbins/Dean Degrazio training called Project Next. The idea is that they use their combined 60+ years of marketing experience to teach you how to deliver your knowledge in exchange for other people's money. They use examples like training people to sing better, to become a wedding photographer, to create a best-selling book, to have a child-centered divorce, to get past childhood trauma, etc.
They provide advice on choosing your "dot": precisely what knowledge you want to deliver and to what audience; on how to develop your course, including how to deliver it through technology (so you can make money while you sleep); how to market your message; how to cultivate leads; how to get people to take out their credit card; and how to continuously add value to your training so that you can increase your price over time, or offer different options over a range of prices.
I wonder if there's a paying audience for Q knowledge.
Hmmmmm....
Let's ask Mister Owl.
