Yes, my comment is ambiguous. What I was referring to is those zealots that promote autocratic regimes often end up being some of the first purged. I think of the Nazi Brown Shirts, various (and numerous) under the Bolsheviks, Antifa, on and on.
Such zealots often fail to conform to the new social norms and are likely to cause trouble. Our media help to promote an autocratic rule leaning on the Constitutional principle of freedom of speech; when new dictatorial norms are enforced much of the mindless mockingbird media still relies on freedom of speech. They must be brought in to line.
Since little real history is taught in 'schools', media zealots cannot learn from history and are condemned to repeat it. (Puff puff... whew!)
