There is a social side of the Masons, but there is also a spiritual side that many Masons may not be aware of. Oaths taken, even unwittingly, bind one in certain spiritual ways.
My father was a Mason, and after he moved to a nursing home I cleaned out his house. I found his Masonic fez and book and after praying for my dad, burned them both. Within 2 hours he was in the hospital. I believe the enemy of his soul was not happy to have me breaking off spiritual bondage.
I’ve known a few masons, worked along side them. No issues with them, but they weren’t way up in the hierarchy either.

I was invited to join twice. Turned it down both times. I went to a funeral service where one had passed. There were some unique rituals performed, but nothing that struck me as satanic.
