Many of my work contacts are Democrats, but several have come around quite a bit. One woman told me some months back that she and her husband, although lifelong Democrats, became Trump fans because they're both very results-oriented, and saw how much good he's done for America as a sovereign nation. They both admire that he does what he says he'll do.
I've been conversing with a San Diego friend over email today. She's a koolaid drinker, hates Trump, took the vaxx -- yet we can still have a civil conversation about it.
What's funny is that we seem to have been assigned each other's daughters. Her daughter loves Trump, won't wear a mask, and won't get vaxxed. My daughter hates Trump, hasn't left her COVID bunker since early last year, and tried to bully me into getting vaxxed.
