A short time before Thanksgiving 2019, I ended up with a collection of weird illnesses that lasted from shortly before Thanksgiving to about Christmas.
I belong to the big PPO on the west Coast, and they did about every test known to man with no diagnosis. Later, we realized that many of the problems I had were signs of what we learned to be CV19.
One of our sons got it after Christmas, and he got the same “we don’t know what you had”. “Your dad had basically the same symptoms in late Nov to mid December.” ( The son lost about 35 #’s and missed more work in 4 weeks than he had in 15 years.
My Grandson had mild symptoms and recovered in less than a week.
Several men in our church and social circles had similar symptoms and yet we had no real contact except at church.
One of the other guys called it the AT&T/Comcast flu as we had no real contact with each other.
None of the women even had any sniffles.
Stanford later during the pandemic identified the bug/virus as CV19 probably coming from the Seattle area and China, via blood samples from blood donors.
November of 19 I was laid up for 2 days or so, didn’t feel good at all, then was back at it after. I’m sure I had it then because I’ve never felt that way before.
Even if it wasn’t, I’m still not playing their super silly games.
I was sick as a dog for 8 days a few days after they left...
as per usual, I did not go to the doctor...just stayed home to recover....
I think the covid was here at that time...
