I thought this was supposed to be for tomorrow.
Did your company do it today or is it scheduled for tomorrow.
I would be equally disgusted and angry.
Stuff like that has no place in the workplace.
I agree. I don’t talk politics in the workplace unless someone pointedly asks me, or drops strong hints they hold the same views I do.
On more than one occasion, I have gently told someone who I know is a liberal:
“Look. I suspect you and I are about as far apart politically as two people could be. I would rather not talk politics with you if that is okay.”
And I do that because I have to work closely with some of these people, many of whom I do genuinely like. (Note I said “liberal” above and not “leftist”. I avoid the Leftists and interact with them as little as possible.)
To be clear on George Floyd-I think it is sad the way the guy lived his life, but it has been my observation that his own actions had far more to do with his demise than the actions of any other person, and it isn’t even close.
I do however bear a great deal of animus towards those that use him as a tool, ironically, IMO, the same group of people responsible for putting and keeping him in an environment in which he was bound by Leftist policies to a lifetime of ignorance and privation.
Those are the people to whom the “Happy” song was directed.
