KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — With a victory at the P.G.A. Championship on Sunday, Phil Mickelson, who will turn 51 next month, became the oldest golfer to win a major championship. The oldest previously was Julius Boros, who was 48 when he won the 1968 P.G.A. Championship.

Mickelson shot six under par for the tournament, finishing two strokes ahead of the runners-up, Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen.

It was Mickelson’s sixth major title, something only 14 male golfers have achieved. Mickelson was the seventh to reach that total since 1964. Mickelson has won the Masters tournament three times and was the British Open champion in 2013. Sunday’s victory was his second P.G.A. Championship title. He has finished second at the United States Open six times.

Now on to the LPGA Championship.

All Phil has to do is “re identify”.

Comparing the before and after pictures, I think his Wife is into Silicone Supplements.

I am no clear of your meaning with the numbers you have following the numbers for each of the last seven holes.

For instance, what is your meaning of the #4 following hole #12; and the same for each of the other holes?

The numbers represent how difficult the hole is for the week. #12 being the most difficult hole, with #13 being the 4th hardest, in relation to par. So if the average for the hole is 4.56 on a par 5, it means that most players are making 5-6 strokes for the hole and very few shooting 4 shots from tee to green.

So?

You'd say otherwise about her appearance if she hadn't, considering that she's survived breast cancer and probably had major surgery to come through it. If she went like plenty of women, there would be continual remarks of her "letting herself go" and "she obviously doesn't care about her appearance" and other such rubbish when there is no value placed on her as a person, only her attributes. THere's plenty of stories whose husbands who can't cope with a woman losing one or both breasts to cancer and it destroys their marriage because he refuses to see her as a woman any longer, as if her breasts are the only reason he stays married to her.

I say good for her for it if that is what helps her and her personal self-image, much less her marriage (which seems healthy still.)

If your numbers mean that the 12th hole is the hardest (for the week and that is represented by a 4), then is 15th hole 3.25 times as hard as the 12th (represented by a 13)???

I don’t get how your numbers and your explanation match each other.

Your numbers seem all Greek to me.

I just responded humorously to the obvious difference in the Photos that were Posted.

I have and had no idea about his Wife, it was just a Joke.

If you think I was attacking her, a Woman I never even knew existed before seeing the Photos because I hate Women (or something), you are one confused Puppy.

I’m sure she is a lovely Woman inside and out and a great Wife.

Tell you what, to make it fair you can Joke about me since I have Cancer, deal?

Lighten up Francis.

Every course has a hole handicap for difficulty.

Looking at the handicapping for the Ocean course at Kiawah Island, I see that it doesn't match the numbers on the cards for the players at the PGA Championship, so I'm going to have to presume that Maigrey's explanation in #85 is correct.
