Wow. Interesting that you wrote that. My friend’s husband will see an eye surgeon this week for that reason. He got Lasik decades ago, and now has major issues (not blind, though). They’ll do a procedure which may help, may harm, and may do nothing. It’s a crap shoot.

I’m glad my eye surgeon in the ‘80s talked me out of it, even though it would’ve meant money in his pocket to do it.

The nurse administrator at the clinic told me how ironic it is that golfers who got the surgery so they could play without glasses now can not even see the ball in front of them.
Very sad, and perhaps a precaution about many elective procedures.
