The first chemo, 10 yrs ago, took all my hair. So, I had to wear a stupid but pretty wig. The wig, whom I called Erma, and I had a love/hate relationship. I would tell anyone who would ask "yes, it's a wig. It's a dead squirrel, and it's name is Erma". I started a new job one month after I finished radiation, so I had to wear Erma every day to work.
And every day on my way home, I'd get out of sight of the office and using my index finger, I'd flip Erma offa my head and into the backseat. The pink baseball cap came on.
When my hair finally started coming in, I let it get just long enough to look like a buzz cut and just showed up at work one day, sans Erma.
"Surprise everyone! YOu just hired a lady who is only 3 months post chemo, and a living example of chemo brain. Hope ya don't fire me! LOL
Well, of course they couldn't fire me, it was a county government position. It mostly worked out ok.
So, I feel wigs are needed, but I also strongly feel that wigs don't mind being mocked. Hell, the back-up wig I have now (for if things get worse) is a totally Dolly Parton look! My ex boss helped pick it out...mockability was the #1 criteria.
Mr. Lindell's hair doesn't concern me. If it is a rug, then congrats for him being brave enough to wear it...good for hiim. And if it's real, well, I think Aquanet still makes a Hurricane Hold formula. His porn-stash, however....a man's gotta be pretty secure to rock a stash like that!
Oh and that (un)reason person who's nipping at Baggy's heels...what a yutz! Ya wannatalk about mockabilty...!

I don’t know.. I think the Dolly wig might be good.
Hubby’s grandma had no hair and wore a wig.. only she’d scare the kids by whipping it off. Actually it was funny at Halloween, but I had to prepare my kids the first time they met her. Son #1 said, “You have a really nice head.” HAHAHAHA.. I had to stifle that. Thankfully she had all her teeth and no cavities. Serious as a heart attack.
