Life experience...

One time when I was a teenager I visitsed NYC (hated it then and every other time) and while walking on a big street in Manhattan, can’t remember name but I saw a model, about 6 ft tall, slender, beautiful, fashionably made up and dressed. As she walked my way I looked into her face and eyes (I guess that isn’t done in NYC) and her eyes were like cold steel chisels, scary really. SHe was not beautiful at all, in reality.

I feel the same way. Went to Manhattan one time. 20 some years ago. As a southerner, I could not get over how NOBODY would look at you in the eyes. It was like they were wearing invisible eye masks.
