There is no need to travel to some building to work on a computer when you can sit at home and do the same thing.

That’s the effed up thing at my college.
They want us all in the classroom (limited to 5 students - the rest can be remote). We are to teach simultaneous face-to-face and remote.
Desks have plexiglass all around, and students bring their own laptops. And we not allowed to walk around the classroom as before.
So what’s the purpose as face-to-face is the same as remote. (Using discord and individual laptops)…

Yep. They want everyone spending thousands on fuel, clothing, cars, repairs, while the dopes sit in traffic 1.5 hours daily, no pay dead time, to operate the same computer they have at home.
