Thank you. A friend has a home in Germany and he described the protocol to fly there. A temperature check AND a rapid Covid test at EACH boarding and unboarding and there were plane changes involved. He was not vaccinated at the time so I wonder if being vaccinated would make you fail the rapid test. That would suck. And you would be at the mercy of each country’s vaccine passport requirement.

No, the vaccination will not present as a false positive COVID test. I wondered the same thing and asked when I received the first dose since I had a visitation appointment that same afternoon with my hospice-bound Mom and had to be tested before the visit.

That seems too soon after the shot to draw a strong conclusion. Have you been tested since then? That would be a good confirmation. Prayers for your mom.
