The oldest people I’ve known who’ve got the coof (in their 80s) were both only “under the weather” for a few days, and didn’t take anything special for it. I’ve only known one person (age 50-something) who was actually sick for a few weeks and enough to be under a doctor’s care. But I suspect he really had pneumonia and not coof, from hearing the symptoms. (JMO, of course).

I’ve known two who were hospitalized but recovered and one who passed away. The one who died had at least two comorbidities, diabetes and obesity.

Everyone else had traditional flu like illness to no symptoms at all.
