DIL’s parents are older than us, too (we’re 69 and 67 respectively). I know two people who were tested because co-workers or whoever tested positive but both my friends were negative. I know no one who has had it or been sick.
Doesn’t matter. Canada is turning into a police state and terminally smug Canadians (who are oh so much better than those stupid Americans) are lining up to sign on willingly. I’m now a covididiot and a mask (and of course science) denier.
I wear their epithets proudly. And am saving up about a thousand “I told you so’s” each day.
