I already had a couple of questions to shoot back and some of them were quite impertinent (favourite “positions”, frequency of masturbation, and other deeply personal questions). I’m writing all the suggestions in my phone for occasional review for the nosy people I will encounter. I’m already known somewhat for my rude counter-questions when people ask me if I should be wearing a mask because it galls me that people now think it’s okay to comment on personal matters. Vaccine questions are without a doubt the next step in the evolution of rude covid behavior. Thanks to you all, I’ll be ready with a range of responses commensurate with the kindness of my interrogator.

Dear Abby always suggested, for nosy people, to ask, “Why do you need to know?”
As kids, our rejoinder for nosy questions was, “That’s for me to know and you to find out.”
Then there is always, “If I tell you, I’ll have to kill you.”
