That situation was an ugly, ugly situation. I think the cops were placed on leave?
In my opinion they handled it so very wrongly. I know meth is a problem is Loveland, but it seems compassion is gone and I think they judged her as some crazy lady probably on meth and pot.
The same thing happened in El Cajon, the compassion part. I think it was about 6-10 yrs ago, it changed. They went from being really nice, caring cops to “we don’t care.”
I only called a few times, never 911, on homeless people on my property. First few times, the cops were stellar but in the last few years they wouldn’t even come out. The mobile home park below us had major problems and they couldn’t get anyone to come out and arrest for vandalism, destruction of property, or assault. My neighbor was badly assaulted by a bunch of teens.. the police never came.
It’s really disappointing.
