Oh that just brought back a wonderful memory. First of all, my pediatrician is still alive and in his 90’s and makes mozzarella cheese now. He was a great doctor and for the most part I really liked him. Except when he pinched my cheeks and took a pair of pliers and pulled an infected toenail off. But I digress lol..
It was his nurse I adored! She was an older woman (probably 50’s haha) with her starched hat, her white uniform, those squeaky shoes on that polished linoleum, the place smelled clean of disinfectant. She was always kind and happy and gave a lollipop and tissue when she had to give you a shot.
