When they talk about treating aides badly and having no national frame work for a Presidential run, what they are really saying is, DeSantis doesn’t listen to establishment types, he gets rid of them or pays no attention to them...
They are trying to say you can’t win without the establishment running things for you.....
If he changes and starts listening to these people he will be toast...

Don’t get me wrong, I was front and center blasting Noem for selling out to the Left.
In this case, it’s not political - most of the customers on the cruise lines will be vaccinated (at least based on the ages that I’ve seen on cruises) and they want to impose it as a general requirement. I also have no problem with that.
But, as I understand it, they won’t be allowed to do so under the ‘no vaccine passport’ law in Florida...although maybe I’m wrong. I hope so, as I love DeSantis so far, at least.
The attacks are just plain Satanic. Anyone that stands up for truth these days gets attacked heavily, and some of the worst offenders are the msm.

You’re close. The answer is that a real POPULIST on the GOP side has the ability to draw votes from deep within the Democrat base, as Trump did in 2020. With those votes, the GOP Populist can win. Without them, it’s virtually impossible. Hence the attacks on GOP populists.
Whether we like it or not, house rules for public enterprises, retail establishments, etc., are not subject to government mandates, SINCE “No Shirt, No shoes, No Service”.

I have good information which I can quote directly this is Walmart communication to stores in Florida dated Thursday May 6th just days ago:

In addition EO 21-101 invalidates all remaining local emergency orders based on the COVID-19 State of Emergency, starting July 1.
However, until further notice, your store needs to continue to follow all company policies, including requiring associates and customers to wear face coverings. We will continue to review these policies as situations and requirements change.”
So there you have it. DeSantis overruled by Walmart Corporate in orders sent to all Florida stores.

If I were DeSantis I’d start raiding employers looking for illegals.

Options should be open I am concerned that some of DeSantis momentum comes from backstabbers who want to oust Trump down the road.
