The golf bit indeed requires explanation as golf early and to the degree to enable pro capability is expensive and overwhelmingly white. Many pro black athletes from other sports become great golfers later in life, once they have the time and resources to transfer their athletic skills.

Tiger Woods is not black, unless you categorize by skin coloration. He described himself as a Comblination. Like a large majority of Americans, we are a comblination of races, nationalities and talents.

My roots are German/Russian/Scot/Brit/Dutch/Irish. I wouldn’t doubt there is an African in there too, but I refuse to do the DNA testing. My Scottish ancestry had land in the vicinity of Virginia-Kentucky. It is likely they had slaves, or at least dealings with those who had them. If there are reparations, do I pay because of my heritage? Or do I get paid because of my heritage?
