Some doctors are cashing in on the 15 minutes of fame like Tenpenny who charges for her seminars. Easier to sell fear than actually care for patients.
Which explains why so many of my doctors have tried to coerce me into taking medication I don't want with the * If you don't take this medication/shot/whatever you could DIE!!!!!*
Well, yeah, I have news for you. My dying some day is a given and nothing I do or don't do is going to change when and how that happens because that's God's call. When HE decides my number is up, then it's going to happen whether I like it or not.
The medical community does a great disservice to people by implying that if they do or take such and such a procedure or medication, they will reduce their risk of dying, implying that living forever is the goal. They play too much on a person's fear of death.
