I spent hours thinking it was in the IP hops to the FR server, and JimRob actually suggested that it was a mouse problem.

Stopped completely, ‘cept when I’m careless with open tabs..

If you have a device that can send multiple “mouse clicks” within
mili-seconds of each other, you can sometimes cause duplicate posts.

Too much coffee, driving my hand into micro-tremors, holding an apple
pencil, single handedly drum rolling the post button on an iPad Pro at a
rate of perhaps 140 bps when I only wanted to click it once, does it for me.

So Click with authority to avoid the bounce when Covfefenated!

It probably bothers you more than it bothers the rest of us. I just scroll by the 2nd post. I’ve had it happen a couple of times, when I was posting from my Kindle, that I stepped on the other night and cracked the screen 😭.

Try the new mouse thing like Bitt suggested. I try to use my laptop rather than the Kindle, it’s just difficult to post, copy/paste, then my Kindle thinks my name is Perry lol.
