I've chuckled at "MARSHALL LAW" each time I've read it. I've thought to myself, "Who is this Marshall guy?"

Unless there is a fella named Marshall and we're simply unaware of him, perhaps "MARSHALL" is a variant of the verb marshal which means "to lead or direct a group in a careful way" as the Allies marshaled their combined resources and crushed the Axis powers.

Just a thought.
