I’’m blessed to have a good computer, but I just recently got a keyboard on Amazon that works with my iPad and it is so great, very portable, but you don't have to use the obnoxious on screen keyboard. It was very inexpensive. I think you can get a used iPad for pretty cheap too, if you don't need a super new one. I think an older one works just as well, it might be lots less than a complete new computer.. Just an idea! I'll help out too if we go that route.
