We were at a country inn years ago when my daughter was quite young, and, of course, a picky American eater. No kids menu. So, they cooked her a perfect poulet frites with a delicious veg. When she turned her nose up at that, the adults at the table happily devoured it.
Yep. My wife and I agreed early on that we wouldn’t begrudge picky eaters. They ate what we put down, or didn’t. Worked out great. These dudes will eat just about anything but seafood.
Our three kids have always been adventurous eaters, even from a young age. We have so many great ethnic restaurants around us and we introduced them to lots of them. They are more adventurous than Dad now!
