At the end of his life MX wanted a communist/Muslem revolution in the US. He did not became sane or nice. He converted to Sunni Islam from NOI and made the hajj to Mecca and met whoever was the Saudi king at that time. He had a big intest in Pan-Africanism and wanted to unite blacks and Muslims. Also he visited Indonesia I believe twice, friends with Sukarno (or whichever one was in power then, I mix him up with Suharto), who was a communist. MX admired Indonesia because it was the Muslim country with the most population. He wanted his son to fulfill his desire, and originally 0b0la was meant to be the leader of Indonesia, that’s why his nanny Stanley Ann Dunahm brought him there, and he was adopted into a highly connected Indonesian family.
He realized what a fraudulent organization he was a part of. Yes, he went Sunni but that was because he was the real deal. He walked the walk. That doesn’t take away what he observed at the time about the media and many other things.
He wasn’t a hero but he saw through a lot of B.S. At least he didn’t go Shiite.
