Off hand.....Measles.
Not 2 years but not 10 either.

1954 the Measles virus was found and isolated.

1960 the first test vaccine.

1961 the discovery of using chicken eggs or grow the virus.

1963 vaccine being delivered.

Polio was pretty fast too. But I’d have to look that up.

Who made the “official” vaccine approval timeline? The Government.
Who over-rides the vaccine approval timeline? The Government.

I think it depends how devastating any given virus is at the time of history.
Regarding speed at which trails and approval get done.

Measles was spreading like crazy.
Polio was a dreadful disease and gripping the country.

People against the Covid vaccine say the don’t trust the government. But rely on the Government’s own set timeline for vaccine approval.
Except for the Covid vaccine of course.

Perhaps it’s me.......I’m more black and white. I either trust the government or I don’t. Picking and choosing parts that sound good to me seems hypocritical.

Have a great day.

It takes a working brain and a discerning mind to cipher out truth.

Sometimes the G-men lie, and sometimes they don't. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to separate the truth from the lies.

A close study of Q will prepare your mind for the exercise, Mister black or white.

A good rule of thumb is to contemplate motive. You can start there.
