The problem is that the states that are most likely to do this are red states.
Where we need to do it is in swing states where Republicans control the Legislature: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, etc.
If DC residents want representation, the District land should be returned to Maryland and Virginia

As late as 1860 South Carolina did not select its electors by popular vote, but by convention. In 1860 the convention which was supposed to choose the electors instead voted to dissolve the Union with the United States (that is, to secede).
Have the Republican legislators divide the EC vote equally among all the counties in the state. Then, it doesn’t matter how many millions of counterfeit votes the cities manufacture, the county the cheaters are in still only gets a small portion of the total EC vote. Since the USSC leaves it to the legislators to set the election rules, it would be constitutionally acceptable. It would only take a few states and it would doom the Democrat party to oblivion in short order.
Sure, let DC be unconstitutionally made a state.....but make them take the Va and Md counties around DC with them.
Va, at least, would revert to red.

absolutely. My advise: all Red states need to rewrite the way Electoral College Votes are tallied NOW, before its too late. Remember the point of the electoral college is to give *cultures* equal representation. There are two cultures, urban and rural. They shall be equally represented even though, by definition, rural is less populated. Otherwise, its mob rule.
Well, the point im trying to make is that we see the game they’re playing. creating a new state is unconstitutional, yes. But let’s beat them at their own game anyway by using our Red state legislatures to change the electoral college voting process. Then the blue may never win a fed. election ever again haha.
Yes. Red states need to do this ASAP. Idaho will go Blue next election Guaranteed. due to Boise (100% cali implants). We just saw this happen with arizona. Every Red legislature MUST do this now. Especially in swing states, but all states are on the line right now.
I dont believe thats correct. If AZ had broken down its Electoral College votes, then only a small portion would have gone Blue. If you extend that to all states, then Red would have put in far more EC Votes. As it stands, all “blue “states” were 100% blue, because of their cities. Red in mixed states had ZERO representation in this fed election.
Remember: the EC is meant to give equal weight to IDEAS/CULTURES... so that cities (by definition have the most population) dont make all decisions. The EC avoids mob rule.
Wow, thanks for thinking on this with me. I’d definitely like to explore this idea. At the 30k’ level, however, i’d like to mention that the EC (whether intended or not, thats always in debate)... the EFFECT of the EC is to give equal weight to IDEAS / CULTURES (urban / rural). Without the EC, urban would always dictate, (has more population, by definition). When the US was created, population was so small that States themselves were homogenous. Now that the population is so large, we need to reformulate the EC so that CULTURES are again fairly represented.
The way the Maine and Nebraska system works is that there are two electors assigned statewide. If the state goes Republican, the Republican candidate gets those. If the state goes Democrat, the Democrat candidate gets them. The rest are assigned by Congressional district, one ofr each district.
Thus, the Democrats got three of the four Maine electors, but Trump got one for acrrying the Second District.
The blue states will NEVER break up their votes.
Only the red states will.
It will insure liberal victory forever.
This type of thinking got us what we’re looking at in 2021.
But hey, do whatever you want.
